From The Sacramento Bee: After signing a contract that secured its future, the Twin Rivers (Calif.) Unified School District Police Department could be expanding its services to financially strapped neighboring school districts. The Twin Rivers police union agreed last week to a contract extension through 2012. The police department has entered negotiations with Center Joint Unified School District in Antelope to contract police services for its school sites. Twin Rivers also is among a handful of agencies in discussions with Natomas Unified School District, but no decisions have been made.
