$500,000 gift will boost technology in Wentzville (Mo.) district

Anonymous donor provides funds for whiteboards, tablet computers

From The St. Louis Post-Dispatch: A $500,000 gift from an anonymous donor will enable the Wentzville (Mo.) School District to upgrade technology in its classrooms. The district plans to use the gift in three ways: installing 209 interactive whiteboards in elementary, middle and high school classrooms; purchase of e-books for school libraries; and purchase of 400 tablet computers; each elementary school will receive about two dozen.
