Engineering building to rise at Washington University

150,000-square-foot facility scheduled to open in St. Louis in 2010

Washington University in St. Louis has broken ground on an energy, environmental engineering and biomedical engineering building on its Danforth Campus. The 150,875-square-foot facility is scheduled for completion in 2010 and will serve as home for the School of Engineering's Department of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering and will share facilities with the university's Department of Biomedical Engineering.
