Denver voters approve $466 million school bond package

Proposal is largest bond request in Colorado history

From The Denver Post: Voters in the Denver School District have approved a $466 million proposal to upgrade school facilities. The general-obligation bond is the largest in Colorado history. The 2012 bond will include $230 million for repairs and renovations, $78 million to address crowding and expand preschool and kindergarten programs, and $119 million for new construction in booming areas.
