School will adapt space at former site of Pabst brewery

From The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: The site of the former Pabst brewery is still the best place for University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's new School of Public Health, say university officials. But a much smaller - and less expensive - building now is being targeted for the health school. UWM has reached an agreement in principle regarding a 50,000-square-foot facility. School officials had previously focused on the former Pabst bottling house, which includes about 250,000 square feet. But remodeling the 50,000-square-foot building will cost less, and take less time, than converting the bottling house.
