Man used computer skills to raid school system's petty cash account
From The New York Daily News: A tech-savvy thief has been sentenced to a year in prison for stealing more than $640,000 from the New York City Education Department. Between 2003 and 2007, Albert Attoh hacked into the Education Department's petty cash account and gave several others the codes so they could pay for their student loans, gas bills and purchases at Home Depot. Attoh, who was not a city employee, also was fined $275,000 for the thefts.
