Riverhead (N.Y.) district schedules October bond vote

Money would pay for upgrades at all school campuses

From Riverhead Patch: The Riverhead (N.Y.) School Board has placed an $85.2 million bond proposal on the Oct. 11 ballot. The proposal has two parts: a $78.3 million request for funds to pay for repairs and upgrades at seven schools, and a $6.95 million request for funds to build a 16,000-square-foot gym at the high school.
