Fixing accessibility issues in newly constructed campuses will cost Los Angeles $30 million

Projects haven't met federal standards to accommodate persons with disabilities

From The Los Angeles Daily News: The Los Angeles Unified School District has spent some $20 billion building new schools, but hundreds of facility repairs are needed - at an additional cost of $30 million - because many of the projects have not met federal handicapped accessibility standards.
