University of Texas at Austin introduces iPhone application

School will use system to provide campus information

News release: The University of Texas at Austin has introduced a free iPhone application featuring news, sports, events, campus maps and shuttle bus information, a campus directory, videos and more. The application is part of an ongoing communications effort to provide alumni, faculty, staff, students and others with the latest information from all of the university's colleges, schools and units. The university plans to add new content and features to the application over time.
