San Angelo (Texas) district sets bond election

$149 million plan would upgrade 1 middle, 2 high and 8 elementary schools

The San Angelo (Texas) Independent School District has scheduled a $149 million bond election for November. The proposal has two parts. Proposition 1 seeks $117 million, which would pay for work on eight elementary schools, both San Angelo high schools and one middle school; Proposition 2 seeks $32 million for a new competition gym and cafeteria at Central High School as well as renovations on the district natatorium.
