Renovated Detroit high school unveiled

Reality TV show provides resources to upgrade Communications & Media Arts High
Aug. 9, 2010

From The Detroit Free Press: The Communication & Media Arts High School has the highest graduation rate in Detroit Public Schools -- 100 percent in 2010. Yet it was scheduled to be closed this summer, primarily because of the building's poor condition. It's been saved, thanks to a new reality TV show, "School Pride," and the 500 volunteers who worked on an extensive renovation.
