Career center in works for Missouri district

Waynesville facility will have shop area, greenhouse and culinary arts room.

The Waynesville (Mo.) R-VI school district is building a career center. The 121,000-square-foot facility will be next to the high school and will take the place of the Waynesville Technical Academy. The center will include an existing shop area of 48,000 square feet; a new addition of 3,700 square feet for a culinary arts and meeting room; a mezzanine area of 11,500 square feet, and a greenhouse of 1,800 square feet. The architect is Sapp Design Associates.
