3 San Antonio elementary schools will become Head Start centers

850 students will be moved to other campuses

From The San Antonio Express-News: Students at three San Antonio Independent School District elementary schools will be moved to other campuses next fall to make room for the federally funded preschool program Head Start. The board has voted to convert Carvajal, Knox and Tynan elementary schools to Head Start centers. A combined total of about 850 students are enrolled at the three elementary schools.
