Enrollment decline is blamed for decision to shut down Stella Maris High
From The New York Daily News: Stella Maris High School, one of three all-girl Catholic high schools in the Queens borough of New York City, will be closing for good in August after 66 years. The all-girls Catholic school, located on the beach in Rockaway, is a casualty of declining enrollment. Fewer than 300 students now attend the school.
