Washington, D.C., wants to crack down on non-resident students
From The Washington Post: Washington D.C.'s Office of the State Superintendent of Education has found that in 2011 276 non-resident students were not paying tuition for their schooling. The agency's report says 126 of the students attend Washington, D.C., public schools, 32 are enrolled in public charter schools and 118 are special-education students placed in expensive non-public programs.
