Closed middle school in Grand Rapids will become Christian elementary school

Christian school association is merging four elementary schools into one facility

The Christian Schools Association in Grand Rapids, Mich., has bought the former Iroquois Middle School and plans to convert it to an elementary school. The Grand Rapids district will receive $1.95 million for the 200,000-square-foot facility, which closed in 2005. The Christian Schools Association plans to consolidate its four elementary schools in one building. It has not yet decided whether shether Iroquois will be demolished or partially demolished and renovatedThe architect is AMGD.
