Sept. 8, 2009

From The Baltimore Sun: Evergreen Elementary School in St. Mary's County, Md., represents the latest in green school design in the state. The $20 million facility, which started classes last week, has been designed and built to save bundles of energy and water, and to reduce the building's effect on nearby streams and wetlands. It's also been planned to educate students about environmental consciousness.
