A San Diego Unified School District investigation into a middle school instructor's personal web content has stirred debate about teachers' right to privacy and what districts may or may not do to regulate their online activities. A history teacher at Challenger Middle School stepped down as a chaperone for a trip to the East Coast after someone complained about his MySpace page.
