Hinsdale (Ill.) district blocked from leaving special-education co-op
From The Chicago Tribune: Hinsdale (Ill.) School District 86 wants to educate its special-needs students on its own, but another school district is standing in its way. Riverside-Brookfield School District 208 has voted against the withdrawal of District 86 from the 15-member LaGrange Area Department of Special Education, which has provided special education services to school districts in eastern DuPage County and Cook County since 1957.
