Milwaukee board says it won't consider privatization of food services

Superintendent had suggested exploring the option to see if savings could be found

From The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: The Milwaukee school board votes to cut off an effort to explore privatization of food services in the district. The district's operation now is running in the black, but is forecast in the coming years to start losing money. But the board, urged on by members of the Service Employees International Union local that represents district food workers, voted to end any consideration of privatization.
