Clark County (Nev.) district considers temporary classroom space

System needs to address enrollment growth that has strained capacity

From The Las Vegas Sun: To alleviate its overcrowded campuses, the Clark County (Nev.) School District will consider building temporary schools using portable classroom, restroom and cafeteria facilities. The School Board is looking at other potential solutions to overcrowding, including major attendance boundary changes and converting schools to year-round schedules. The board is expected to decide in January.
