Michigan State University will allow fishing on the Red Cedar River

Fishing on campus has been prohibited since at least the 1940s

From The Lansing State Journal: For decades, the banks of the Red Cedar River on the Michigan State University campus in East Lansing have been closed to fishing. But now the university’s Board of Trustees after a push by conservation groups, has agreed to allow fishing on some parts of the campus.
