The Tullahoma City (Tenn.) school district is carrying out major HVAC repairs at two of its schools.

The school board has approved spending $675,000 to upgrade Bel-Aire Elementary School and East Middle School, reports The Tullahoma News

Bel-Aire Elementary is served by 33 standard packaged units that are at the end of their usable life. Officials said Bel-Aire's project would require only unit replacements with humidity controls.

East Middle School is served by 12 units that provide energy to multiple areas of the school. In addition, there are additional units for classrooms that have no outside air.

The project will be paid for by Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief Funds (ESSER).
