The Leechburg (Pa.) district is considering a proposal to upgrade the HVAC system at improving its middle-high school campus.

The project at Leechburg Middle-Senior High Schoowould cost nearly $1.8 million, reports The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

The work would replace the middle-senior high school’s boiler, which was installed in 1965. The temperatures inside the building often vary wildly because of the inefficient system, district officials say.

The improvements also would add new heating, ventilation and air conditioning controls and replace the roofs on the middle-senior high and at David Leech Elementary School.
