The project will replace an outdated boiler system, which was installed in 1965, and new heating, ventilation and air conditioning controls at Leechburg Middle-Senior High School.
The project atLeechburg Middle-Senior High School would cost nearly $1.8 million, reports The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
The work would replace the middle-senior high school’s boiler, which was installed in 1965. The temperatures inside the building often vary wildly because of the inefficient system, district officials say.
The improvements also would add new heating, ventilation and air conditioning controls and replace the roofs on the middle-senior high and at David Leech Elementary School.
