The Rowan-Salisbury (N.C.) district is upgrading the HVAC systems at all 35 of its schools.
The board approved a contract with Moseley Architects to design and oversee the construction of the upgrades.
The project is estimated to cost about $28 million and will come from the district's Covid relief funds, reports The Salisbury Post.
The upgrades range in cost from about $150,000 to $2.6 million each for upgrades at East and South Rowan high schools.
