WXYZ-TV reports that the schools that will be shuttered are Harrison High School, Dunckel Middle School, and Highmeadow Common Campus, a K-4 school. All three campuses are in Farmington Hills.
Harrison High School will be closed for the 2019-2020 school year. Students will continue to enroll at Harrison until spring 2019. In 2019-20, all district high school students will attend either Farmington High School or North Farmington High School.
The Dunckel Middle School campus will be converted to Highmeadow K-8 STEAM Academy, beginning in the 2017-2018 school year.
The existing Highmeadow site will close at the end of 2016-17, and willbe converted to house the Farmington Community School and Alameda Early Childhood Center in the 2017-2018 school year.
