A judge has ordered Bridgeport (Conn.) School Superintendent Paul Vallas to leave office immediately because he doesn't have the necessary credentials for the job. But, The Hartford Courant reports, an attorney for the city says Vallas can continue in his post while an appeal is pursued. Vallas has been the chief administrator for school systems in Chicago, Philadelphia and New Orleans.
