Abington Heights School District in Pennsylvania has joined the Amazon Associates program in order to raise revenue, The Citizens’ Voice reported. As part of the program the district asks patrons to do their regular Amazon shopping through a link on its homepage, generating a small commission from the sales. The school does not expect to see any major income, but the initiative is one way to raise funds without having to raise taxes. Any revenue will be added to school district’s general fund.
