Watershed School, a private middle and high school in Boulder, Colo., has purchased a building for a permanent campus.

The school paid about $5.4 million for a 16,726-square-foot building, reports The Daily Camera

Watershed was founded in 2004 and rented a building at the western edge of Boulder but outgrew its space and moved to its current location.

School officials are raising money to renovate its new site and are looking at purchasing another nearby property. School leaders also plan to work with architects, students, staff members and families on designing the space.

School officials hope to move to the new site by fall 2024.
