WFRV-TV reports that the improvements at Preble and Green Bay West high schools were made possible after voters approved a $92.6 million referendum in 2022.
The updates at Green Bay West's auditorium include:
Microphones and sound system
Stage lighting and curtains
Catwalks above the ceiling
New seats
Lighted strips in aisles
Redone floors
Paint and plaster renovations
Climate-controlled room, designed for piano storage
Backstage monitors
Some of the new and updated features at Preble's auditorium, which was built more than 60 years ago:
