The University of North Texas in Denton has opened its newest dining hall.
Eagle Landing is a $25 million, two-story facility that has seating for 700 and offers students three meals a day, as well as late-night options.
The 36,000-square-foot hall has seven unique serveries in a food-hall style setting. Among the cuisine offered: Latin fusion, Asian-inspired, Italian, homestyle, vegetarian, wood-grilled burgers and desserts.
Numerous seating layouts and types are offered to provide a variety of dining experiences as well as space for students and staff to cultivate scholarly and social relationships.
An interactive environment will enable students to customize their dining experience with chef-crafted, made from scratch ingredients.
The building includes dining rooms, associated kitchen space, food preparation space, storage, dishwashing and other support areas.
The architect is Kirksey Architecture, and the contractor is Rogers-O’Brien Construction.
