The university says a $13 million fundraising campaign will provide money for scholarships, academics, and student wellness and athletics facilities.
The university plans to build the complex on part of 14 acres next to campus. With expanded seating and new amenities, administrators say it will greatly improve campus life and be available for Beaverhead County games and events. Officials hope the facility will be ready for games in fall 2024.
The contractor is Jeffrey Contracting/R.E. Miller.
“We are very excited to be at this stage in the Sports & Activities Complex project, which will transform the student experience and provide a campus and community gathering place to be enjoyed by all,” said Montana Western Chancellor, Michael Reid.
