The funding would enable the district to build a seventh elementary school, expand Lake Creek High School, renovate the district's athletic complex and construct agricultural science and career and technical education centers, reports Community Impact Newspaper.
The bond election is broken into three propositions.
Proposition A: $312.98 million. It includes money for an elementary school to relieve Keenan and Stewart Creek schools; a 900-student expansion at Lake Creek High School; planning and design for a third junior high school; facility upgrades at all district campuses; and the addition of centralized CTE and agriculture science facilities.
Proposition B: $8.51 million for renovations to the district's athletic complex.
Proposition C: $5.4 million for technology upgrades.
