Wealthy Texas districts struggle under Robin Hood finance formula

Officials say their districts are suffering because they are paying too much to support less affluent school systems.

Officials in affluent school districts say the share-the-wealth school funding formula in Texas has unfairly penalized districts that must trim services and raise taxes to help other school systems that in some cases aren't in financial straits.
