Rensselaer Polytechnic receives largest donation ever to U.S. university

An anonymous donor

has pledged $360 million to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

in Troy N.Y.—the largest donation to a university in U.S. history. The gift will help the university more than double its research efforts and its graduate enrollment over the next five years.
