The school will be built in Urbandale and is tentatively set to open in 2024.

The Waukee (Iowa) district is planning for construction of its 11th elementary school.

The school will be built in Urbandale and have a similar layout to Sugar Creek Elementary, which is expected to open later this year, reports The Des Moines Register. 

If the board approves the plans in the spring, construction is expected to begin this summer, and the school could open by fall 2024. 

FRK is the architect.
