Hundreds of residents of Nolensville, Tenn., turned out over the weekend to celebrate the opening of three new schools in the steadily growing town.
The Nashville Tennessean reports that the Williamson County school district held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Sunday to mark the completion of Nolensville High, Mill Creek Middle and Mill Creek Elementary.
The district spent $70 million building the three schools, which are next to one another. Mill Creek Middle and Mill Creek Elementary share a building, and Nolensville High is adjacent to it.
The combined middle and elementary school campus is a prototype for the Williamson County district. The schools share facilities such as the central office, cafeteria and library.
