Hawaii school selects architect for DREAMS facility

The DLR Group will partner with the Hawaii Department of Education and the Waipahu Intermediate School to design a $10 million facility for the district’s Digital media, Robotics, Engineering/electronics, Animation, Music and Science (DREAMS) program. The new 30,000-square-foot facility will have specialized learning spaces, a commons and faculty center to connect the campus, and a new auditorium. Construction is expected to begin in September 2015 and finish the following the summer.
