Tuscarawas Valley (Ohio) school district is building a school for grades 7-12

Updates for the new school include enhanced safety, efficient operations, climate-controlled environments, accessibility, and flexible innovation uses of space for learning.

The Tuscarawas Valley (Ohio) district in Zoarville, Ohio, has broken ground on a new building on the district's campus for grades 7 to 12.

The Times-Reporter reports that that the middle school/high school building will replace the existing facility and is expected to be completed in 2023.

The existing intermediate school will be remodeled into a pre-kindergarten to sixth-grade school. The other buildings on the campus will be torn down.

The approximate cost of the campus overhaul is $45 million; funding comes from local and state funding.
