Seventh-day Adventist school in Ohio breaks ground on $6.4 million high school addition
Spring Valley Academy, a Seventh-day Adventist K-12 school in Centerville, Ohio., is constructing a 15,000-square-foot addition to its high school.
The $6.4 million expansion will accommodate growing enrollment. The school already has reached capacity with 500 students, reports WHIO7 News.
The addition will be constructed on the southwest end of the existing building and will add six classrooms that will open into a large atrium. The atrium will feature spaces for studying and other gatherings. Students also will have access to an activity room and an outdoor patio space.
The school has raised $4 million so far to pay for the addition.
Construction is expected to be completed in summer 2022.
John Poe Architects designed the addition.
