The Harmony charter school network in Texas has broken ground on a high school in the Houston-area.
The new campus is in Richmond--the Harmony School of Innovation - Katy High School. It will be the sixth Harmony school in Fort Bend County and is expected to accommodate 700 to 800 students in grades nine to 12, reports The Houston Chronicle.
The campus will focus on STEM-based curriculum which includes physics, biology, chemistry and engineering labs, maker space and a soccer/football field.
It is scheduled to open for the 2022-23 school year.
Harmony has 58 charter schools throughout Texas, according to its website.
