Medical school campus planned for Great Falls, Mont.

Touro College & University System and Benefis Health System is constructing a medical school campus in Great Falls, Mont. 

The Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine - Montana  will aim to ease a physician shortage in the region and increase access to health care for the state’s underserved populations, reports KRTV 3 News. 

The medical school plans to accept 125 students each year and to educate them with affiliates in Montana.

The Great  Falls location will add to the university system's campuses that includes New York Medical College, and college of osteopathic medicine sites in Nevada, California, and New York.
