Blackfoot (Idaho) district breaks ground on multiple construction projects
Blackfoot (Idaho) district 55 has broken ground on several facility upgrades.
The $23.9 million building program will update multiple district campuses and athletic complexes, reports The Idaho Falls Post Register.
The construction plan calls for constructing an elementary school for about 450 students, converting I.T. Stoddard Elementary School into a career technical center, constructing additional shop space for industrial classes, constructing a new student center at Blackfoot High School, a new baseball/softball complex, a new competition soccer pitch, and a new competition track with stadium seating upgrades.
GPC Architects is designing the facilities, and Headwaters Construction Inc., is the contractor.
