The Keokuk (Iowa) district is adding a music wing to Keokuk High School.

The $4 million wing will feature multiple practice rooms, and full ensemble rooms to fit all students at once, reports WGEM News

The district says the existing space for music students is too small and can't properly accommodate all students and equipment at the same time.

Money for the project came a state sales tax earmarked for school infrastructure.

The expansion is set to be complete in November 2022.
