Charter network in Texas is building a campus in Leander

Harmony Public Schools, a network of charter campuses in Texas, is planning to build an elementary school in Leander.

Harmony Science Academy Leander is scheduled to open in 2023-24 with grades prekindergarten through second grade and sixth grade, reports Community Impact Newspaper.

The school will add grades in subsequent years and eventually serve about 1,500 students. The campus will be built in two phases with an initial elementary school building and a secondary school building to be built later.

The Harmony charter network operates about 58 schools in Texas.
