Jenison (Mich.) district is building an Indoor athletic facility at high school
The Jenison (Mich.) district is constructing an indoor athletic practice facility at Jenison High School.
The 64,000-square-foot building will be on the west side of the high school, reports WOOD-TV 8.
The facility will have an 80-yard indoor turf area, a two-lane track and a cheer room.
Funds will come from the district's voter approved bond.
In addition to the athletic facility, the bond will enable the district to upgrade HVAC systems, and add classrooms at Bursley Elementary School and a music room in the junior high building.
Construction is expected to be complete by September 2022.
