Ankeny (Iowa) district breaks ground on 12th elementary school

The Ankeny (Iowa) district has broken ground on its 12th elementary school. 

The kindergarten through fifth grade school will accommodate about 800 students, reports The Des Moines Register. 

The $23.5 million campus is being built to accommodate the district's growing enrollment. 

The school is expected to be completed by fall 2024. 

Stahl Construction is the builder.
