Pittsburg State University to build hospital simulation in Pittsburg, Kan.
Pittsburg State University is building a nearly $7 million simulation hospital on the Pittsburg, Kan., campus.
The simulation hall will be 10,000-square-foot addition to McPherson Hall, reports The Joplin Globe. It will be used by students in the Irene Ransom Bradley School of Nursing.
The project also will renovate the existing facility so the nursing program can accommodate additional students.
Facility features will include associated control rooms, a debriefing room, a waiting area, a study area, storage and restrooms.
Funds for the project will come from private donations.
