Jewish high school in Georgia will construct a performing arts theater, athletics complex
The Weber School, a private Jewish high school in Sandy Springs, Ga., is constructing a performing arts center, athletic complex and other buildings.
A $19 million grant from The Zalik Foundation will help pay for the new facilities and enable the school to enhance its curriculum and programming, reports Northside Neighbor.
The Performing Arts Center will have a theater and rehearsal space for theatrical and music performances as well as other events for the greater Atlanta Jewish community.
The school also will construct an athletic complex, which will have a large performance gym with a full-size basketball court plus two full-size practice gyms.
The complex also will have a 550-seat stadium, three large locker rooms, enhanced fitness, conditioning, and weightlifting facilities, and track and field facilities.
