Princeton University in Princeton, N.J., is constructing its seventh residential college that will be comprised of four residence halls.

Once completed, Yeh College will consist of four residence halls. The college was previously referred to as New College East, the university says in a news release.

Yeh College is one of two new residential colleges that will welcome students later this year. The New College West College will become the home for students and staff from the former First College.

The residential colleges at Princeton provide collegial and collaborative learning environments for students. Following the opening of Yeh College and New College West, the university will begin construction of Princeton’s eighth residential college, Hobson College. It will be built on the site of First College.

Yeh College and New College West will share dining areas and common spaces.

The project is part of the university's efforts to expand its undergraduate population by about 10%.
